Jasmine Co (she/they) is an artist based in Portland, OR. Their work explores the connections possible between nature, dreams, archetypes, & transformation. Their paintings include fluid and colorful combinations of realistic figures and abstract forms, crisp lines and soft textures. Using mostly acrylics on canvas or wood panel. Music often inspires the process, and the images invites viewers to stay present long enough to hear the rhythm, beats, and melodies in the shapes, forms, and hues. Jasmine recently completed their Masters in Climate Change, Development, & Policy and is passionate about ecological justice and regenerative whole systems change. Living in a time faced with immense social and environmental challenges, we’re asked to reflect on what we truly value — and for Jasmine, making art remains one of the most powerful acts of resilience.
